1. Information processed by the application
To provide agent status, SkyCopilot processes local lifecycle events such as session identifiers, status changes, tool names, source application, and minimal navigation context. It is designed not to persist prompts, tool arguments, commands, conversation bodies, or monitor history.
If you enable calendar reminders, SkyCopilot temporarily processes event titles, times, calendar selection, and reminder settings. Calendar titles remain in memory. Hashed occurrence fingerprints may be stored locally to prevent duplicate alerts.
2. Local storage and Keychain
Application preferences—including appearance, language, reminder choices, and monitor display settings—are stored locally on your Mac. Agent activity state and session summaries remain memory-only.
Google OAuth tokens and selected Google calendar identifiers are stored in macOS Keychain. Google access requests the read-only calendar scope. SkyCopilot does not require a Google client secret.
3. Optional diagnostic log
A local diagnostic log may be available during the preview period. It is disabled by default, user-readable, and capped at 200 KB. Calendar content is redacted and calendar diagnostics contain aggregate counts and settings only. The log is not automatically uploaded to SKYC.
4. Website data
The current website does not offer accounts, advertising, or behavioral analytics. It stores your language and theme choices in your browser’s local storage.
Our hosting infrastructure may process limited technical information such as IP address, request time, user agent, and error or security events to deliver and protect the website. Retention is limited according to the infrastructure provider’s operational practices.
5. Permissions and third parties
Apple Calendar access uses EventKit only after your opt-in. Direct Google Calendar access uses the system browser, PKCE, a random loopback callback, and the calendar.readonly scope. You can disconnect or revoke these permissions at any time.
Codex, Claude Code, Apple, Google, terminal applications, and hosting providers process information under their own privacy policies. SkyCopilot does not sell personal information.
6. Retention and deletion
Most operational content is memory-only and disappears when the application exits. You can remove local preferences by uninstalling SkyCopilot and deleting its application data, revoke calendar access in System Settings or your Google account, and clear website preferences through your browser.
The exact removal flow may change during preview development; release documentation will provide current steps.
7. Security
SkyCopilot binds its local HTTP listener to the loopback interface only and uses macOS security controls such as Keychain and permission prompts. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we design the product to minimize collected and persisted data.
8. Children and international use
SkyCopilot is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children. If local law requires parental consent for software services, you may use SkyCopilot only with the necessary consent.
Privacy rights vary by location. Before general commercial release, this policy will be expanded with applicable controller identity, legal bases, rights-request channels, and international transfer information.
9. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as SkyCopilot develops. Material changes will be identified by a revised date and, when appropriate, an in-app or website notice.
Privacy questions may be sent through the official support channel published with SkyCopilot or on the SKYC website.
