SKYCOPILOT / LEGAL

Application Terms

Last updated: September 2, 2026
These terms govern your use of the SkyCopilot macOS application and related services provided by SKYC. This is an initial policy for an early product preview.
By installing or using SkyCopilot, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

1. Product status

SkyCopilot is currently preview software. Features may be incomplete, change without notice, or become unavailable. You should not rely on SkyCopilot as the sole method for receiving critical, emergency, safety, medical, financial, or legal notifications.

2. License and permitted use

SKYC grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use SkyCopilot on compatible Apple devices you control, subject to these terms.

You may not reverse engineer, bypass security controls, interfere with the service, use SkyCopilot unlawfully, or redistribute the application except where applicable law expressly permits it.

3. Local integrations and permissions

SkyCopilot may modify specifically managed entries in local Codex or Claude Code configuration files after you enable an integration. It is designed to preserve unrelated configuration. You are responsible for reviewing permissions and maintaining backups appropriate to your workflow.

Calendar access is optional and requires your explicit authorization. Some features depend on permissions controlled by macOS or third-party services.

4. Third-party services

SkyCopilot can interoperate with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Codex, Claude Code, terminals, and development environments. Those products are operated by third parties and remain subject to their own terms and privacy practices. SKYC is not responsible for third-party availability, changes, or conduct.

5. Ownership and feedback

SkyCopilot, the website, brand elements, and associated intellectual property belong to SKYC or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.

If you provide product feedback, you allow SKYC to use it without restriction or compensation, while you retain ownership of your original materials.

6. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkyCopilot is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SKYC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits, missed notifications, or workflow interruption arising from your use of SkyCopilot. Liability that cannot legally be limited remains unaffected.

8. Changes and termination

We may update SkyCopilot or these terms as the product develops. Material revisions will be identified by a new effective date. You may stop using and uninstall SkyCopilot at any time. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or misuse prevention.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms may be sent through the official support channel published with SkyCopilot or on the SKYC website. Jurisdiction-specific company and contact details will be added before general commercial release.
